TULUNGAGUNG – The discussion on Golkar Tulungagung media collaboration took center stage when the management of Jawa Pos Radar Tulungagung visited the regional office of the Golkar Party on Wednesday.

The meeting aimed to strengthen communication and explore potential cooperation between local media and political institutions. Both sides emphasized the importance of reliable information in reaching the wider public.

The Radar Tulungagung delegation met directly with Jairi Irawan, chairman of the Tulungagung branch of the Golkar Party. Jairi also serves as vice chair of Commission E at the East Java Provincial Legislative Council.

Several party officials and members of the Golkar faction in the Tulungagung Regional Legislative Council joined the meeting. The gathering created an opportunity for open discussion between political leaders and media representatives.

Jairi welcomed the visit and praised the role of the media in supporting public communication. He said political parties rely on credible media outlets to share information about programs and public service activities.

“Golkar certainly needs the role of the media. Radar Tulungagung helps deliver information about our activities and the work of our legislators to the public,” Jairi said.

He added that stronger cooperation between political parties and the media could expand public access to information. Effective communication, he said, also helps ensure that community programs reach a wider audience.

According to Jairi, collaboration with Radar Tulungagung could encourage the party to stay closer to the community. Media coverage allows residents to follow the activities and initiatives carried out by party members and local lawmakers.

The discussion ended with a joint iftar gathering, which further strengthened relations between the Golkar Tulungagung leadership and the Radar Tulungagung management team.
