TRENGGALEK – KDMP construction in Bendo Village, Pogalan District, Trenggalek, has reached 70 percent as workers move into the roof installation stage. Meanwhile, the village government continues to push the project so it can finish on schedule in April.
Workers now focus on installing the roof frame after completing most of the main building structure. At the same time, they maintain steady progress at the construction site every day.
The Koperasi Desa Merah Putih (KDMP) project plays an important role in the village’s economic plan. Later, the facility will support community business activities and help strengthen local welfare.
Bendo Village Head Imam Kusaeni said the project has entered an important phase. He added that village officials monitor every stage closely.
“We target KDMP construction for completion in April. Currently, progress has reached around 70 percent, and workers have started installing the roof frame,” Imam said.
In addition, the village administration coordinates regularly with the construction team. Officials want each stage to run smoothly and meet quality standards.
Imam explained that Bendo Village also considers progress in other parts of Trenggalek Regency. So far, many KDMP projects in the region have nearly reached operational stage.
“We see many KDMP projects across Trenggalek almost ready to run. Therefore, we also push construction in Bendo so residents can use the facility soon,” he said.
Besides speed, the village also prioritizes durability. The team wants the building to serve residents for a long time.
Once completed, the cooperative will become a center for local economic activity. As a result, villagers will have more organized access to economic programs and business development.
Imam said the project must create direct benefits for residents. For that reason, the village expects KDMP to strengthen economic growth in Bendo.
“We hope KDMP brings positive impact to Bendo Village, especially for improving the local economy,” he said.
With progress already at 70 percent, residents remain optimistic about the project. If work continues at this pace, the facility could begin operating soon after Lebaran.
