RADAR BLITAR – Bukit Indah Beach Blitar is emerging as one of East Java’s most tranquil coastal escapes. Visitors keep coming despite the difficult access and remote setting. The beach sits in Kaligambir Village, Panggungrejo District, along Blitar’s southern coast.

Unlike busier beaches nearby, Bukit Indah Beach offers soft white sand and wide ocean views. Waves roll in from the open Indian Ocean, creating a dramatic backdrop. The nearby Umbul Baros Waterfall adds a rare coastal attraction that few beaches share.

Reaching the shore requires effort. Drivers pass steep inclines before the concrete road ends about 100 meters from the beach. Visitors must then cross a muddy 30-meter track. After rain, the section becomes slippery and intimidating.

Many travelers see the route as part of the adventure. Saifullah, a visitor from Blitar City, said the challenge increased his excitement. He noted that most of the road is manageable, but the final muddy stretch remains difficult.

“The access is mostly good, but the last part is muddy and tough,” he said. “Still, the struggle feels worth it when you see Bukit Indah Beach.”

Sunset transforms the coastline into warm orange light. The horizon glows above the quiet sea. Photographers and campers often wait for this moment. The beach stays relatively empty, giving visitors a sense of privacy.

With its calm atmosphere and raw scenery, Bukit Indah Beach Blitar attracts travelers seeking relief from city life. Visitors often picnic or camp with friends and family. The secluded coast offers a peaceful retreat in southern Blitar.
