RADAR TULUNGAGUNG – Tulungagung THR 2026 holiday bonus for civil servants will be disbursed in early March, before the joint Eid leave period, local officials confirmed.

The government of Tulungagung has allocated 54.5 billion rupiah for the выплаты. The funds are secured in the 2026 regional budget and are administratively ready for release.

Dwi Hary Subagyo, head of the regional finance agency BPKAD Tulungagung, said payments will occur before March 18, when the national Eid holiday begins.

“We have prepared everything. The 14th salary will be disbursed before the joint leave, around mid-March,” he said.

Recipients include 7,144 civil servants, 3,113 full-time contract government employees, and about 5,400 part-time contract staff. Each will receive one month of full salary as mandated by the central government.

The bonus also applies to Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo, Deputy Regent Ahmad Baharudin, and members of the local parliament. In total, more than 15,000 officials in the Tulungagung administration will receive THR.

However, the 54.5 billion rupiah allocation excludes teachers. Their THR follows a different scheme funded directly by the national budget.

Dwi Hary said THR funding had been planned since early discussions of the 2026 budget. Therefore, the disbursement process is unlikely to face delays. Authorities scheduled payments so employees receive funds before the Eid holidays.

Officials expect the payout to boost the local economy. Tens of billions of rupiah will circulate in the community at once. As a result, household spending should rise ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

The funds will help civil servants cover holiday needs such as food, clothing, travel, and celebrations. Meanwhile, local traders, small businesses, and service providers are also expected to benefit from stronger seasonal demand.
