TRENGGALEK – Trenggalek Eid parcel orders have surged ahead of Eid al-Fitr, with local producers reporting a sharp rise in demand from domestic and overseas customers.

Orders began arriving even before Ramadan, reflecting strong seasonal demand for holiday gift packages.

One local producer, Lina Yunita Sari, said the increase became clear from the first days of Ramadan at her home-based production center in Ngulanwetan Village.

She estimated this year’s orders have climbed by around 50 percent compared with the previous year.

“Orders had already started before fasting began. This year feels much busier than last year,” Lina said.

Her Eid parcels contain a mix of holiday essentials, including snacks, sweets, and syrup commonly served during family gatherings.

Some packages also include household items such as plates, glasses, and bowls arranged in decorative displays.

Lina said customers can customize the contents, package size, and price.

That flexibility keeps parcels popular as gifts for relatives, friends, and business partners during Eid.

Each day, Lina and her workers complete around 20 parcel packages.

They assemble the products in stages to maintain presentation quality before delivery.

“We can finish around 20 parcels a day, and orders usually rise further as Eid gets closer,” she said.

This year, her business has received around 500 parcel orders in total.

The sales volume has generated revenue worth tens of millions of rupiah, marking a clear increase from last year.

Lina has operated the business for five years and says annual demand continues to grow.

Her parcels now reach buyers outside Trenggalek and several customers abroad.

Some overseas Indonesians place orders to send Eid gifts to family members in their hometown.

According to Lina, parcel gifting remains an important Eid tradition because it helps maintain family ties and social connections.

Parcel prices range from Rp50,000 to Rp1 million, depending on size and contents.

“Thank God, orders increased this year and the revenue also reached tens of millions of rupiah,” she said.
