The 13th salary serves as a supplementary annual benefit commonly provided to Indonesian civil servants. Many employees use the additional income to cover educational expenses, household needs, and other family costs.

Tri Iman encouraged recipients to use the funds responsibly and prioritize essential expenditures. He noted that the timing of the disbursement could help families prepare for upcoming school registration and education-related expenses.

“For now, we are completing the administrative process. We hope the funds will be used wisely, especially for employees whose children will soon enter school,” he said.
