TULUNGAGUNGA motorcycle theft in Ngunut occurred after a resident’s motorbike disappeared from a boarding house parking area in Ngunut. The incident happened in the parking lot of a boarding house in Neighborhood 10, Ngunut Village.

The victim is Andri Wiyanto, 38, a resident of Lowokwaru. He lost a white Honda Beat NC11BF1D AT with license plate AG 3839 KBC.

According to local police chief Tri Nuartiko, the incident began late Saturday night. Around 10:30 p.m., the victim left the boarding house to buy cigarettes.

He returned about 30 minutes later and parked his motorcycle in the boarding house parking area, facing east. After that, he went upstairs to his room on the second floor to rest.

However, the motorcycle disappeared the next morning. At around 7 a.m. on Sunday, the victim planned to leave the boarding house to take his girlfriend to work.

“When the victim came down to the parking area, the motorcycle was no longer there,” Tri Nuartiko said.

The victim searched the surrounding area of the boarding house but did not find the vehicle. He later reported the theft to officers at the Ngunut Police.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the perpetrator entered the boarding house through the main gate, which someone had left open or unlocked.

Police also discovered that the victim had not locked the motorcycle’s steering. This condition made it easier for the thief to take the vehicle from the parking area.

After the incident, police urged residents to stay cautious when parking their vehicles. Officers advised the public to always lock their motorcycles properly to prevent similar crimes.
